Mai Fung - Owner/Head Photographer

Mai Fung is a New Jersey native who just moved back into the area after living in South Florida for almost 2 years. In Florida, she worked as a Marketing and Communications Manager at a prestigious country club, but word got out that she was a photographer as well. Naturally, Mai side-hustled and was able to keep herself very busy with portrait, special events, newborn, maternity, and wedding gigs. She LOVED every minute of it. Also, it was such an added bonus when her clients would send her heartwarming thank you cards after receiving their photos.

Working at at commercial photography studio right after she had graduated from a local university in 2007 is what shaped Mai’s photography career. To the contrary, Mai didn’t major in Photography in college; she majored in Graphic Design. Having graphic design and photography skills make a great combination for a creative career. In the beginning, she would assist in the studio with prepping and styling products for photo shoots. Eventually, she was able to move into post production and began retouching images. Then Mai starting to photograph various products including women’s fashion wear.

Years into working at the studio, she began doing more and more photography gigs such as family portraits, engagements, maternity, small weddings, newborn, and special events. Her love for meeting new people and listening to their stories while capturing memories is certainly what keeps her passion going.
